A free Resume.io alternative with free PDF downloads
Resume.io’s free plan gives you one resume and one cover letter, downloaded as plain text. PDF downloads come with the 7-day trial, which renews into a subscription billed every four weeks. AlderCV’s free plan also has one resume and one cover letter, but you download them as PDF, Word or text without paying. Here is the comparison, with what Resume.io does well too.

Where Resume.io does well
- Its free plan includes a cover letter as well as a resume.

- It offers a 7-day money-back guarantee on purchases, according to its pricing page.
When AlderCV may not be the right fit
- The free plan holds one resume. If you want a separate saved version for every application, that needs Pro or the 30-day pass.
